Know Your NCEdCloud IAM Service Challenge Questions
Employee NCEdCloud IAM Service passwords expire 90 days after being reset (or occasionally when manually expired by an LEA Administrator). When this happens an employee logging onto the service will receive a “password has expired” message. In order to set a new password the user will be asked to answer a short set of challenge questions that were answered during the initial account setup. Has it been awhile since you’ve checked your challenge questions? Before the holidays, why don’t you revisit your challenge questions and provide answers that you’re sure to remember. That way when your password expires in the future you can be sure the self-service password reset functionality will work for you. To do so:
- Log onto my.ncedcloud.org
- Click the “Profiles” tab on the left
- Click the “My Profile” tab on the top
- Click the “Update Challenge Responses” button
- Answer your desired challenge questions then click the “Save” button
